TMinus sailing timer works differently from other timer watches and apps. Set the scheduled start time at your leisure: after that the timer always shows the correct time to go regardless of switching apps, or even re-starting your device.

Dealing with a postponement is easy too: pause the timer until the race committee announces the new start time, plug that into the app, and the timer is back on track.

These features, along with the ability to do rolling starts make the app especially suitable for race committees.

It is important to note that if your device does not have the proper accurate time set, TMinus sailing timer will be inaccurate.
